As a member of B7 family, programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1) is found to express in activated B cells, dendritic
cells and macrophages. PD-L1 and PD-L2 are the ligands of PD-1. The interaction of PD-1 and PD-L1 leads to the
inhibition of T cell proliferation and cytokine production. In addition, expression of PD-L1 in tumor cells is consider to be related to the immune escape of the tumor cells.
